Serendipity – lyric video – watch it now!

I’d happily trade in my sadness
For a positive outlook on life
I’ve decided to ascend into madness
And laugh away all of this strife

For you can’t ever tell me
It’s worse than reality

Don Quixote was a hopeless romantic
Felled by windmills and bully rapscallions
Was he lame like his horse or heroic
To think he rode the finest of stallions?

Perhaps he was smarter to be
Divorced from reality

Call me crazy, you can call me mad
But tumbleweeding ain’t so bad
I lost my place, it was quite the trip
I now place my trust in serendipity

If I told you Moby’s dick was pelagic
And that whale of a tale is a fluke
Why do we consider it tragic
To play the fool instead of the duke?

Perhaps it is better to be
Like Ahab lost at sea

We’re so proud of our democracy
Electing liars and smooth-talking crooks
But what’s equivalent hypocrisy?
Expecting fires to care for our books

So you can’t ever force me
To step foot in therapy

Call me crazy, you can call me mad
But tumbleweeding ain’t so bad
I lost my place, it was quite the trip
I now place my trust in serendipity
